Claiborne Golden' puppies are loved and live apart of our family. Our dogs are originally from Europe and 100% English lines, with amazing health histories and championships and/or champion bloodlines. Almost all of our adult dogs are imported from Europe or children from imports of strong lines. All our dogs are AKC registered and the puppies will come with limited registration, guarantee, microchipped, immunization, vet health checks, and dewormings before leaving to their forever home. We pride ourselves on breeding only the best lines with healthy, great temperament, social, and beautiful dogs.

Much like our dogs, we are very hands-on with the families who our puppies go to. Please fill out the application, it asks some important questions that will help us make the choosing and reserving process more efficient for both of us. The purpose of the conversation is for you to let us know your puppy of choice AND for us to learn about the environment you will provide for one of our goldens.

Choosing

Once the puppies have reached 6 weeks old, it is time to choose your puppy! The reason we wait until the puppies are 6 weeks old is to allow time for the puppies’ personalities to develop and to be fully examined by our veterinarian. We will start with the person who has 1st pick and move down the list in order, everyone has 8 hours to make a decision.

We will text multiple pictures and videos to you of each puppy and describe their personality and traits to the best of our ability. We know it is not always possible to pick out your puppy in person, so with facetime and video and photos to help you make your decision.

Before you choose your puppy, we will discuss with you the type of temperament you are wanting so we can best help match you. Our puppies are a lifetime commitment and a member of your family, so it is our responsibility as well as yours to help in any way we can to make sure it is a perfect match for the puppy and you.

All of the puppies are given nicknames but you pick the name of the puppy. His/her name will start with “Claiborne.” (Example – Claiborne Cocoa Bliss) this will be their official recorded name. You can have any “Call” name if you choose to.

At this point 50% of the payment is due.

Keep in mind: We will not know the number or genders of the puppies for sure until they are born. If you are the last one to select and the puppy is not what you had in mind you will have the option of moving to the next litter in the order next available. At that time, I will contact those on the waiting list first to offer the puppy to them before advertising on our Facebook page.

Claiborne Golden reserves the right to select the first 2 puppies from each litter.

Reserving

We take a nonrefundable deposit of $250 to reserve a puppy, this goes towards the purchase price of a puppy. As soon as we receive and confirm your deposit you will then be placed next in line for a puppy. Please note that we cannot reserve your pick until we have the deposit. You must decide upon placing a deposit if you want a male or female.

Please note: Deposits are NON-REFUNDABLE, however, it is transferable. If you have a deposit on a litter and there are not enough puppies to go around, your deposit is transferable to the next litter of that same breeding or a breeding of your choice – but in the next available order.

We often sell litter before they are born, so we accept early reservations for puppies in future litters, so don't hesitate to reserve your spot ahead of time!

Your deposit goes towards the total balance due for the puppy.

Pick Up

Pick up and taking home your puppy occurs after the puppy is 8 weeks old, the remainder of the payment is due at this time.

You are responsible to pick up your puppy on the pre-scheduled date, usually on the afternoon of the weekend after the puppies have turned 8 weeks. You need to have your own crate.

We offer FREE local pick up in Longview, Texas and surrounding East Texas areas that are less than 1 hour.

$300 for up to 2.5 hour car delivery from our home to yours - this includes DFW & Shreveport, LA airports for pick up. Sometimes further car deliveries are available on a case-by-case basis and these deliveries are charged based on mileage. We are willing to work with you on other locations if necessary, we try our best to work with families on various options for meeting to get their puppy!

$1000 personal delivery by one of our team members to your closest major airport (this option is for 8 week old puppies only).

You may choose to pick up your puppy later than the specified Sunday. We are glad to give you this option and provide care for $100 a week.

Our full puppy pack includes:

1. Proof of health certificate from our veterinarian

2. A health booklet that includes a record of all age appropriate vaccines, weight, and deworming dates

3. AKC limited registration

4. Guaranty document that is signed

5. Microchip registration information

6. Golden filled with goodies; blanket with mother’s scent and littermates, toys, etc.

7. A supply of puppy food if you choose to transition to a different brand

8. Informational leaflets

9. 1 to 2-year warranty

10. Early Neurological Stimulation (ENS) and Advanced Puppy Socialization

11. Our commitment that we will be here to answer any questions for the lifetime of your puppy!
